So to go back to the last weekend and describe everything that’s happened…
First off, Nyan Koi. Definitely a really adorable anime worth checking out! So far there are only three episodes out, but I’ve fallen in love with it! The art style is adorable, the animation is nice and smooth, and last but not least – it has cats, cats, and more cats! The main character, Junpei accidentally knocks the head off a cat-god shrine (or something of that sort) and is thus cursed to be able to understand cats! In order to get rid of this curse he has to do deeds for cats, and if he doesn’t do that… he himself will turn into a cat. Have I mentioned that he has an allergy to cats?
It’s definitely a funny watch, and really cute~ Should check it out. =]
Wednesday
Now back to summarizing my weekend… Diamond Plaza with Kerry was a ton of fun. I was craving some yummies from around the area, so we went to Life Plaza and had some yummy popcorn chicken and beef curry. I also got my usual pineapple slush, mm mm mm~~ It made me cold though. XD Afterwards we went to Cue, where we took a set of adorable pictures~
The machine we used was really cool, I loved the backgrounds it gave us! Haha it cost us more than the usual machine we used, but it was definitely worth it! Though I wasn’t used to there actually being a time limit, so that messed me up. XD And it’s been so long since I’ve gone to Cue that I got rusty. D;
Afterwards we went to the arcade, where he played some Technika followed by some DDR. We discovered that Technika had an S4 song! Oh man was that awesome, though it was pretty hard, haha. That game always hypnotizes me because of the pretty animations and music..
To finish off our night at Diamond Plaza we picked up some delicious taiyaki and a mango & strawberry slush, mm mm~
Thursday
(I totally botched up my last post btw) On Thursday Kerry and I got together with Justine, Venus, Richard, Ryan, and Rose. It was nice seeing everyone again and hanging out~ I had to rush home after getting out of class… I don’t think I’ve ever driven that violently and quickly before… Kerry met up with me and Venus picked us up and we headed over.
When we got there we ate at Panda Express, followed by randomly squiggling our way through Target. Afterwards we had to split because Ryan had to go home to sleep (had to wake up early).
Friday
On Friday my family, Kerry, and I drove up to Mammoth for the day for opening day! Tickets were free because of it being opening day~ Very nice. :3 We left at 3:oo am and got there approximately at 8:00 am. We had breakfast and then we hit the slopes. We had to wait about 45 minutes to get onto Broadway Express, but once we got to the top of the mountain, we discovered another lift which had a 10 minute maximum wait.
We did quite a few runs, so the drive was definitely worth it for the free lift tickets.
On our drive home I demanded that we stop at the volcano in Mojave Desert so I could check it out (after learning more about volcanoes and such in geology). We went to fossil falls (about a mile away from it), which was really interesting. I took a ton of photos~ I also stole some rocks. :p I love collecting rocks and minerals, haha. My pockets were full of rocks. XD
Saturday
On Saturday we interviewed maid café applicants before the meeting. All the applicants were pretty cool and nice, though some of them were pretty shy and evidently extremely nervous (which was pretty much expected). The meeting was afterwards and it was really nice to see everyone again! I missed everyone a lot. After the meeting we went to noodle world, but as much fun as that was, I was having a lot of breathing problems and I was in pain, so I wasn’t able to enjoy it as much…
Sunday
We had our photoshoot on Sunday again at Venus’s house. I was in both of the shoots, though I wasn’t all that happy with my look. In the first shoot Justine made my hair pretty cute, but I personally have grievance with not having too much flowing hair… T_T” Oh well. Second shoot I also didn’t get to wear a wig so I was kind of blah about that. I still feel pretty insecure about my natural hair.. need to work on fixing it up. Afterwards we went to noodle world, again.. :p I didn’t feel as crappy this time so it was a lot more fun.
As for yesterday and today? I mainly just worked on the AniMaid Café website and watched anime. I think I wrote more than enough for today, haha.
