I know I haven’t posted much, and I’m sorry about it! A lot has been happening and I haven’t had much time to update, but I’ll be sure to update again regularly from now on.
First off, a few changes and/or updates on my life. I’m officially part of the AniMaid Café staff as the Webmaster, so I pretty much have all control over the website design and whatnot. I’m currently working on re-designing the whole site into a Wordpress based site, just like this one.
Secondly, I’m also now part of the ePublications staff of Anime Expo. I’m the graphics designer of the site, which makes me feel rather proud. I’ve already done a few small things on the website such as creating some of the banners, making the design of the countdown widget, and a few other things that haven’t been released yet. I will soon be designing some more major aspects of the Anime Expo website… I’ll announce it once things are published.
Thirdly, I’ve completed my Miku Maid cosplay as my maid design for AniMaid Café. Here are a few of the highlight shots from the photoshoot I did with Fiverings:
I’ve been trying to do more artwork, so that I can finally join artist alley at either Fanime Con or Anime Expo. I just recently completed this out-of-character painting of Miku Hatsune. I’ll have prints available of “Sexy Miku” at Fanime and/or Anime Expo.
I’ve also finalized my Cosplay list for 2010. My main main cosplay is Miku Hatsune, but I have also decided to try to tackle Flandre Scarlet from Touhou. Miku will be debuting at Fanime Con, but I’m not sure whether Flandre will debut at Fanime or Anime Expo. I’m going to shoot for Fanime, but I won’t push it.
I’m also opening up for art/web-site commissions. I currently have two commissions I am working on, but once I am done with them I’d like to keep working. I need money for cosplay after all! Please note though, that I give myself around 2-3 months to work because I have a lot of other responsibilities (school, AniMaid Café, Anime Expo ePubs work, cosplay, etc). So please don’t be upset if I take a little longer!
I’ll be putting up a detailed commission page soon.
Once my schedule is a little less full of things to do, I’ll be making a new web-design for Vensy.net as well. Most likely Vocaloid based or something, haha.
