I know I haven’t posted much, and I’m sorry about it! Â A lot has been happening and I haven’t had much time to update, but I’ll be sure to update again regularly from now on.
First off, a few changes and/or updates on my life.  I’m officially part of the AniMaid Café staff as the Webmaster, so I pretty much have all control over the website design and whatnot.  I’m currently working on re-designing the whole site into a Wordpress based site, just like this one.
Secondly, I’m also now part of the ePublications staff of Anime Expo. Â I’m the graphics designer of the site, which makes me feel rather proud. Â I’ve already done a few small things on the website such as creating some of the banners, making the design of the countdown widget, and a few other things that haven’t been released yet. Â I will soon be designing some more major aspects of the Anime Expo website… I’ll announce it once things are published.
Thirdly, I’ve completed my Miku Maid cosplay as my maid design for AniMaid Café.  Here are a few of the highlight shots from the photoshoot I did with Fiverings:
I’ve been trying to do more artwork, so that I can finally join artist alley at either Fanime Con or Anime Expo. Â I just recently completed this out-of-character painting of Miku Hatsune. I’ll have prints available of “Sexy Miku” at Fanime and/or Anime Expo.

So I finally decided to upgrade to Windows 7!  What do I think of it?  Well, so far so good.  It’s a lot more flexible than Vista was (which is saying something).  The only thing I don’t like is the taskbar, which I changed to looking more like the previously styled taskbars.  You’re able to move tasks on the bar though, which is really pretty neat. The new start menu is pretty cool, and everything just looks pretty slick in general.
This past weekend was quite busy (as usual). Â On Friday I spent the day cleaning and prepping my computer for the upgrade. Â Saturday was ultra busy… Had a meeting with ALA staff, then went to Kerry’s friend’s birthday, followed by Maoh’s birthday at Manna BBQ (which was really fun). Â I baked Maoh some Jack Skellington cookies which ended up turning out a lot better than I expected, so I was happy about that.
Sunday was a rockband Photoshoot.  I got to hold Yui’s guitar!  AAhhh that was cool. XD  We went to eat afterwards, which was yummy. ♥  Finally after getting home Kerry and I was able to relax by watching K-On! and Hetalia.  Tomorrow I’ll write some reviews about Kobato and a few other new anime series I’ve began watching.  For now this is a rushed entry to summarize a few things… I haven’t posted in a while so I felt like I should at least post something to show people I’m not dead. Haha.. I’ve just been really busy!
So to go back to the last weekend and describe everything that’s happened…
First off, Nyan Koi. Definitely a really adorable anime worth checking out! Â So far there are only three episodes out, but I’ve fallen in love with it! Â The art style is adorable, the animation is nice and smooth, and last but not least – it has cats, cats, and more cats! Â The main character, Junpei accidentally knocks the head off a cat-god shrine (or something of that sort) and is thus cursed to be able to understand cats! Â In order to get rid of this curse he has to do deeds for cats, and if he doesn’t do that… he himself will turn into a cat. Â Have I mentioned that he has an allergy to cats?
It’s definitely a funny watch, and really cute~ Â Should check it out. =]
Wednesday
Now back to summarizing my weekend… Diamond Plaza with Kerry was a ton of fun. Â I was craving some yummies from around the area, so we went to Life Plaza and had some yummy popcorn chicken and beef curry. Â I also got my usual pineapple slush, mm mm mm~~ Â It made me cold though. XD Â Afterwards we went to Cue, where we took a set of adorable pictures~
The machine we used was really cool, I loved the backgrounds it gave us! Â Haha it cost us more than the usual machine we used, but it was definitely worth it! Â Though I wasn’t used to there actually being a time limit, so [...]
Oh man was this past week busy!
I had three major tests last week, and the weekend was no less busy!  I’m going to really summarize this and then I’ll come back to it later.
Thursday: went to Diamond Plaza with Kerry and we did Purikura~ yummy dinner and taiyaki as well! Was a lot of fun!
Friday: went snowboarding with my parents and Kerry. Â We went up to Mammoth for the day, for opening day! Free lift tickets~ Â Will post pictures later tonight.
Saturday: AniMaid Café meeting, interviewed new applicants and then we had a general meeting, followed by Noodle World!
Sunday: AniMaid Café calendar Photoshoot, was a ton of fun!  Noodle world afterwards!  Om nom! :9
Yeah so that’s a general look at how my weekend was, I’ll go into more detail later tonight after I’m finished working on stuff. ^^
Today was rather odd. Â I woke up pretty early since I had been so ahead on sleep already past few days… I would check my temperature, discover that I no longer had a fever, and just go back to sleep because I was too lazy to get up. Â I repeated this probably about three times before I finally decided to get up out of bed. Â I didn’t get too much done today, I guess…
I tried to get the video section up for the AniMaid Café, but that didn’t work out since my internet likes to fail on me whenever I upload any large files.. =/  So I’m going to have to have Kerry do that for me.  I was hoping to get it done today, but oh well.
I began altering a pattern I found for my Yoko maid outfit. :3 Â I’ll be working mainly on that tomorrow.. as well as my Yoko boots. Â I’m adding many many white coats onto them so they’re steady in that sense hopefully.
Mokona (one of my fellow maids) invited me to do two dances with her, both of which are really cute and fun.  So I’m full up on dances I’ll be learning for the maid café.  I downloaded and got them ready for getting ready to learn.  Didn’t quite want to do much dancing today yet though since I just barely got over my sickness.
I’ve become re-addicted to “Hide & Seek” by Namie Amuro. I want to learn to be sexy like her. XD [...]
I’m still sick, which means no Las Vegas and no Photoshoot tomorrow. ;_; Â I guess if I wasn’t sick, I would have been able to go to Vegas after all.. My mom came in to talk to me at one point and told me, “it’s a good thing you’re sick! Â Or else I would have been having to worry about you in Vegas!” … I questioned why she said that and she said she knew I would have begged her into it, etc. Â So now I’m even more depressed about the whole Vegas issue, because I was really looking forward to it. T_T Â Oh well. Â Kerry went at least.. Hope he’s having fun. Â It was ultra tough for me, and I’ll admit I cried a little when he left because I really wanted to go too, but hey.. I’m sick, nothing can be done there… *sighs*
I ordered a Sheryl Nome wig and a Kaito wig for Kerry.  So yay about that.. I’m going to be looking into getting a new Yoko wig since mine is kind of bad.  I mean it’s great for photos and all, but I need it to look good in person.. since I want to be Yoko maid for AniMaid Café.
I updated my Cosplay page to make it look prettier.. Â Even if I’m sick in bed I guess I still want to get things done, haha. Â I might go to the store tomorrow and pick up two zippers for my Yoko boots, maybe… I can’t stand [...]
Gah, today sucked. Â It all began yesterday… In my Japanese class my throat was hurting a little bit and I felt a little weak, but I put it off. When I got home, oh man was I tired and weak. Â It was terrible. Â I didn’t feel like doing anything productive because of how sluggish I felt…
This morning I woke up feeling even worse.. My mom woke me up for class, but the first thing I did when I got up was measure my temperature, and surely enough I had a fever of 100.7°F. T_T  I told my mom my main concern was about getting rested up and feeling better for tomorrow because I have a major psychology test tomorrow and two Japanese quizzes (Kanji and anatomy).  She told me it was my decision whether I wanted to skip class today or not, and I decided that I would because I really felt like I needed to rest up and get better for tomorrow.
I slept most of the day. In general I think I was asleep from about 10 am to 5 pm.  I was up for a few hours here and there, but yeah otherwise, LOTS of sleep!  After I had a small dinner I took some day quil and slept some more. When I woke up I still felt weak and sweaty, but I checked my temperature and thankfully it had decreased back to a regular temperature of 98.3°F.
I need to post more, but I’ve been so busy! The highlights of the week? (From what I can recall currently while waiting for some files to download)
On Friday Kerry and I met up with some friends and went to see Zombieland. We had to go completely out of the way to go see it in Burbank, but nonetheless, it was a neat movie and it was fun seeing everyone.
Saturday, Kerry and I headed up to downtown to hang out with Amanda and her friends for a little. Had some really yummy pork katsu curry at a restaurant there, mm. :9 I want some again. I want to go down to visit Amanda sometime to help her with her blog and maybe she can help me with the pattern for Miku’s vest. :3
Sunday was a really busy day! I woke up around 8.20am and forced myself to wake up. We left for Venus’s house and got there around 11am. Full day of photoshoots! It was a lot of fun and I think the bikini shoot came out really well, can’t wait to see it!  We went to noodle world afterwards and had some nummy food. I discovered how good the pineapple cooler is there, and I think I’ve fallen in love! ♥o♥
