I know I haven’t posted much, and I’m sorry about it! Â A lot has been happening and I haven’t had much time to update, but I’ll be sure to update again regularly from now on.
First off, a few changes and/or updates on my life.  I’m officially part of the AniMaid Café staff as the Webmaster, so I pretty much have all control over the website design and whatnot.  I’m currently working on re-designing the whole site into a Wordpress based site, just like this one.
Secondly, I’m also now part of the ePublications staff of Anime Expo. Â I’m the graphics designer of the site, which makes me feel rather proud. Â I’ve already done a few small things on the website such as creating some of the banners, making the design of the countdown widget, and a few other things that haven’t been released yet. Â I will soon be designing some more major aspects of the Anime Expo website… I’ll announce it once things are published.
Thirdly, I’ve completed my Miku Maid cosplay as my maid design for AniMaid Café.  Here are a few of the highlight shots from the photoshoot I did with Fiverings:
I’ve been trying to do more artwork, so that I can finally join artist alley at either Fanime Con or Anime Expo. Â I just recently completed this out-of-character painting of Miku Hatsune. I’ll have prints available of “Sexy Miku” at Fanime and/or Anime Expo.

So today was an adventure. Â My mom woke me up at 9:30 am (after going to sleep around 5:00 am the previous night) and after showering and having a snack we headed off to Downtown L.A. to the fashion district. Â The drive was rather annoying because I was barely driving around 70 mph, yet my mom was freaking out that I was driving over the speed limit… Â And she was also freaking out that I was driving in the far left lane. Â Something about it being difficult to get out of that lane if something happened to the car… It made me laugh.
Anyways. We got to the fashion district and spent about two hours there browsing. Â I found some “OK” boots for Yoko, and because I couldn’t find anything better I just bought them – because hell, they actually had my size for once. Â These don’t have as high heels as I would have liked, but oh well. Â I also bought more beads for the bikini top, hair chopsticks, and clips (all for $1 each). Â With that, I had everything that I needed (except for paints for the boots, and whatever I’ll need to buy for my gun…) Â I felt relieved…
On our way back to the car we stopped by one of the major wig stores and asked about clip on bangs (I had this in mind for my Maka cosplay). Â Thankfully they had some that fit my hair color, and it was only $10, so we grabbed it. Â [...]
