My school semester began this weekend, which explains my absence from posting this week. I’m taking four classes: Art Design, Geology, Psychology, and Japanese 2. They all seem pretty cool so far, the teachers all seem nice.
Art Design: I took Art Design back when I was at Orange Coast College (for the one month I attended), and I’ve got to say I like this class a lot more than the other one. The other one, I just felt like I was completely wasting my time – it was pretty much all magazine cut and paste projects (it felt like I was back in elementary school). This class, although the general concept is the same – understand lines and color, it’s a lot more loose and artist-friendly. We’re going to be drawing things composed entirely out of lines, but the teacher said that we can make our entire portfolio whatever subject we want, basically anything that’ll help us in the future. Cool~

So far today has been a pretty smooth day. I went to sleep really early last night so I managed to wake up at a decent time! 8:30am, dayum! That’s a miracle for me, haha. I checked on SMC classes and I managed to get myself into Japanese 2 (since the free drop off date thing was yesterday, seats emptied out so I was able to register ^^), and I changed my class schedule around a bit to make things quite a bit more managable. Before I had morning classes at 8:30am and 9:30am which I kept telling myself: “Vensy, why did you sign up for such early classes?” But now I have noon/afternoon classes again which is going to be nice. :3 And no class on Fridays, so yay! ^^
Most of all I just can’t wait for Japanese again. I was really upset about possibly having to miss out on a semester of Japanese… >,< but yay I get to move on and learn more. :3 Gotta review my Japanese before the semester starts~
I’ll end up updating later today about whatever I get done today. =]
